Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 6, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Obzena LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use Coin Identifier (the "Service"), available at coinidentifier.org and through our mobile applications.

1. Who We Are

Obzena LLC is a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States. You can contact us at [email protected].

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Images You Submit

When you use our coin-identification feature, you upload photos of coins. These images are processed by our system in order to identify and value the depicted coin.

2.2 Account & Usage Data

We may collect a randomly generated anonymous identifier, device type, operating system version, app version, language, country, crash logs, and aggregated usage statistics. We do not collect names, addresses, or phone numbers unless you voluntarily provide them by contacting us.

2.3 Purchase Data

If you purchase a subscription or in-app product, the payment is handled exclusively by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We never see your card or bank details. We only receive an anonymized purchase token and the subscription status from RevenueCat / the platform receipt.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To identify the coins in your photos and return identification, valuation, and historical context.
  • To operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • To diagnose technical issues and prevent fraud or abuse.
  • To enforce our Terms of Use and comply with legal obligations.

4. Third-Party Processing (Important — AI Disclosure)

Images you submit to our identification feature are sent to OpenAI’s API (operated by OpenAI, L.L.C.) for the sole purpose of generating an identification result. By using the Service, you acknowledge and consent to this processing. OpenAI processes the images according to its own data-handling policies, which you can review at openai.com/policies. Per OpenAI’s API data-usage terms, content submitted via API is not used to train OpenAI’s models by default.

Other third-party services we may use:

  • Google Firebase — anonymous authentication, crash reporting, analytics, push notifications.
  • RevenueCat — subscription management.
  • Cloudflare — content delivery and DDoS protection for our website.
  • Apple App Store / Google Play — payment processing and app distribution.

5. Data Retention

Submitted images may be temporarily retained on our servers for diagnostic and quality-assurance purposes for up to 30 days, after which they are deleted. Anonymous usage logs are retained for up to 12 months. You may request earlier deletion at any time by emailing [email protected].

6. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. We do not sell personal information.

7. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

We use industry-standard security measures (TLS in transit, access controls at rest). However, no system is 100% secure. You acknowledge that you submit information at your own risk.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or by email if we have one on file.
