Who writes our guides
Guides are written and edited by Tuğberk Can Özen, founder of OBZENA LLC. Tuğberk is not a professional numismatist or appraiser. Our guides do not describe first-hand appraisal work, personal collections or lab tests.
How we use AI
Guides are drafted with the help of AI writing tools and then edited. Drafts are based on published reference material:

Where a page relies on a specific source for a figure, it names or links it.
What the prices mean
Price ranges describe what comparable coins have listed or sold for. They are not an appraisal of your coin and not financial advice. Grade, cleaning, eye appeal and authenticity change a coin's value a great deal. For a coin that may be worth more than a few hundred dollars, check recent sold results and consider certification by PCGS or NGC.
App comparisons
Our coin identifier app comparison is based on public information: App Store ratings, number of ratings, in-app purchase prices and each publisher's description of its app. We do not publish accuracy scores from our own tests. Coinara is our app, and the comparison says so.
Corrections
If a date, mint mark, attribution or price on this site is wrong, email [email protected] or use the contact form with the page address and, if you have one, a source that shows the error. We correct confirmed errors and update the page's date.
