How it works
- Photograph both sides. Place the coin on a plain surface in soft light. The app guides the framing.
- AI matches type, year, and mint. Coinara compares the photo against its catalog and reads the date and mint mark.

What Coinara cannot do
A photo cannot prove that a coin is genuine, decide its grade or show whether it has been cleaned, and those three things decide most of a coin's value. Coinara's value is an estimate for comparable coins, not an appraisal. Worn, ancient and error coins are harder to identify from a photo. For a coin that may be worth more than a few hundred dollars, check recent sold results and consider certification by PCGS or NGC.

Is the value in Coinara an appraisal?
No. It is an estimate based on comparable coins. Grade, cleaning and authenticity change what a coin is worth, so check recent sold results or a grading service such as PCGS or NGC before you sell or insure a valuable coin.
How do I cancel a Coinara subscription?
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and cancel Coinara there.
